Meet Miss Jenna!
Greetings to all who visit this site and have the pleasure of knowing Mr. Charles Stuart in common with me, I am glad to contribute. My name is Jenna Sloan, I am 23 years old and was born and raised in Lebanon County. I currently reside in Harrisburg, PA. I furthered my education at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA where I reached my first educational goal of Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education and a certificate in Special Education. As I ventured out into the teaching world in January 2008, I had the goal of just getting my career started anywhere that would hire me. I think we have all been there at some point in our lives! I began substitute teaching with the local intermediate unit and tried to work everyday in a different classroom setting. They were all in the special education field. Not two days after I had my interview for substituting, I was called by the Autism Support Program supervisor at the I.U. to return for another interview for a long term maternity leave substitute position. That is where I am finishing out this school year, and where I have the pleasure of seeing Mr. Charles, as the kids call him, throughout the work week. This teaching position and classroom is where I was introduced to the worlds of three boys with Autism! This website is where I will share my growing knowledge of Autism with you.
