Vice President

Kristina Toth has been involved in the criminal justice system in both New Hampshire and Colorado for over fourteen years. She has worked in State and private corrections with children and adults. For the past six years, Ms. Toth has been the Program Administrator for the Family Connections Center at the Lakes Region Facility for the New Hampshire Department of Corrections.
The Family Connections Center is New Hampshire’s first program for incarcerated parents and their families located in a medium security prison facility. Ms.Toth helped design and create this parenting program in conjunction with the University of New Hampshire in 1998. Ms. Toth has created family support programming for incarcerated fathers and mothers, their children and their children’s caregivers to create healthy family relationships during the time of a parent’s incarceration. Ms. Toth has a great interest in helping families during the traumatic time of separation through incarceration. She enjoys helping incarcerated parents learn how they can parent from prison, make changes in their life so they can stay out with their families and understand the important role they play in their children’s lives.
She is a member of UpStream, a community coalition focused on primary prevention and strengthening family life, Secretary for the Child Welfare Committee for the NH Division of Children, Youth and Families and a board member of Family Support NH, a network of family support programs throughout New Hampshire. Ms. Toth co-created the Dads Are Parents 2 support group and acted as a board member for this community father support group. |
